Centenary Field - Fields in Trust
Windlesham Field of Remembrance is officially registered as Centenary Field, Windlesham Field of Remembrance. It was included as part of the Centenary Fields protection by Fields in Trust.
The Deed of Declaration was formally executed on 21st November 2017 by Windlesham Field of Remembrance, the Official Custodian for Charities, and the National Playing Fields Association.
The Trustees dedicated the Property to commemorate the Centenary of World War I, preserving it as a public open space, park, play area, playing field, recreation ground, woodland, walk, and memorial garden for the benefit of the Windlesham community.
The protected area boundary is clearly marked on the accompanying map, outlined in red (excluding the area in blue), encompassing The Admirals Field and the main playing fields.
