On the 18th of May 2013 a group of volunteers got together to clean all the payground equipment and play area. All pieces of equipment got a thorough clean with soapy water to get off any dirt and grime left over the last year or so.
The old rusty gate and two concrete stumps from an old bench outside the fenced play area were removed to reduce the chance of any injury occuring.
The surrounding area was strimmed and the play area was swept thoroughly and all moss that had grown has been removed.
The play area safety matting is due to be repaired on the 12th of September 2013 (If it isn't raining) to reduce any trip hazard for the children or parents. We will report on this once it has been done.
