Gift Aid
Supporting WFoR through Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most impactful ways you can support the Field. If you’re a UK taxpayer and make a one off donation or donate regularly as a Friend of Field, signing up for Gift Aid means that your donations will go even further - at absolutely no extra cost to you. By allowing us to reclaim an additional 25% from HM Revenue & Customs on every donation (back dated up to 4 years), you’re helping to maximise the resources available for our vital projects and services.
Gift Aid doesn’t just benefit the Windlesham Field of Remembrance - it can also offer financial advantages to donors. Higher-rate taxpayers are eligible to claim back the difference between the basic and their highest rate of tax. This could mean a reduction in your tax bill or a rebate, making your generosity even more rewarding.

Match Funding
As a Friend of the Field, did you know that many employers actively support the charitable efforts of their staff? By simply asking your company whether they offer match funding, you could double the impact of your contributions - whether through fundraising, volunteering, or making a donation.
Even a few hours of your time or a small donation could be matched by your employer, significantly increasing the support we receive.
Currently, we benefit from match funding via platforms like Benevity, used by companies such as Microsoft and Salesforce, and Charities Trust’s Match Giving, which allows employers to match employee donations or fundraising efforts. Other organisations may use different portals or offer direct support - often all it takes is a quick conversation with your HR department or line manager to find out what’s available.
Don’t miss the opportunity to make your generosity count twice - your employer might be delighted to help you support the Field!
